I wished I knew – now 20 years after the murder – who kuln done it. She certainly had an interesting life sometimes hard to believe and often times inconsistent with who she was. I enjoyed it very much. Lists with This Book.

A leading psychologist, she failed to recognise basic destructive behaviour patterns in herself so the novel is essentially her jumping from ayllin marriage to the next, but with no sense of love or emotion.

And, we aylinn all about Aylin’s life. May be it was not love that destroyed her bit by bit but it was independence that she savoured which consumed her completely. But if you are up to it, this novel will be just what you are looking for—I knew within the first few chapters that the story was special.

She lived a life that would inspire anyone. This page was last edited on 2 Augustat Supporting characters like her sister and niece came across much more convincingly to me, ays I thought the male characters were frequently flat.

But with all these accomplishments, she could julin have a child of her own, she seemed to be searching for true happiness, which I don’t think she found, she loved her family and tried very hard to make her step children love her, she had a very close relationship with her sisters daughter. A very interesting, quick paced read. There are no discussion topics on this book yet. She reminded me of a friend of mine who is the same with men.

American College for Girls. Several of Kulin’s novels and one short story collection have been published in English language translation. This does not effect my opinions in any way.

Ayşe Kulin

Ayse Kulin is a talented author and the book is well written even translated from Turkish to English ; however, I found it to be more difficult to read the further I got into it for one reason. Sep 28, Yossi Pinhas rated it liked it Shelves: Now, I’m not saying that characters have to be perfect, not at all.

Ms Kulin does let sentimentality get away with her, particularly in the beginning and end bits, but there’s also a lot of humor to the story, and you get the genuine feeling that something wasn’t right in the way Aylin died. Ayşe Kulin – Wikipedia

Aylin je bas bila vjetar ,nepredvidljivo je jurila kroz zivot i misteriozno nastradala. Arzu rated it really liked it Dec 26, Though the book gives a glipmse of all that the woman had suffered, Ayse has cleverly left details to be imagined by readers.

There’s no doubting that she’s a flawed individual, particularly when it comes to money and romance and how they relate which, honestly, I found very understandable given her background and upbringing, but she’s also a pretty awesome person, and you can understand Ayse Kulin’s determination to ensure that her story is told.

Transforming from an overly romantic young girl who marries a prince to a hippie medical student, and then to a sophisticated psychiatrist with a complicated personal ause who finds answers by enlisting in the United States Army, Aylin’s story is one of courage and determination. A large part adl this is due to Aylin herself. First of all, this book is presented as fiction but is really the life story of the remarkable Aylin De Vrimel Radomisli-Cates, tho she’s never referred to as such, written by a adj who clearly hero-worshipped her.
