I found that this book had far more meaning to it than many of the others. The Colour of Magicthe first novel in Terry Pratchett’s wildly imaginative Discworld series, takes the listener on a remarkable journey. Also, he happens to be one of the fairest people in character invention. Now she was standing tall and haughty, supported by a scaffolding of pride. Terry Pratchett is hilarious, his prose is excellent, and to top it off, he’s a prolific author, so if you’re like me and always running out of reading material, reading everything he’s written should keep you busy for a while.
Only the youngest witch, Agnes, and the Omnian priest, Mightily Oats, seem able to resist pratcyett vampiric mind control, due to their dual personalities.

I’m on a re-reading kick at the farpe. I have never come across a Discworld book that fails to enthral and delight, and this one is about a good as they get. This is one my favorite books hands down.
