He always does the right thing: It’s one of those stories where you want to keep turning the page to find out what happens next. There were times she made nasty and mean comments towards Quinn, her best friend, judging her clothing, the way she acted around other people, etc.
That hint of nervousness that sweeps through him at times around Becca. I’m one step away from being a crazed elrmental over here because I can’t believe how solid these books continue to be.
I couldn’t be more happy with the way this book turned out. He lashes out because it’s the kemmrrer thing that makes sense to him. Somewhere near the end I was suffocating but I had to end the book. All the elements being controlled by boys?! Hunter’s lucky I couldn’t get my hands on him to knock some sense into his very attractive, pierced, tatted self. He just wanted to crumple on these wooden boards and let all this anxiety and worry and anger and rage pour down the steps. Storm is a remarkable debut. Spirit begins with Hunter being attacked in his own house by the crazy Calla still hell-bent on her plan elemnetal bring the Guides to town.
The concept – of four brothers with an affinity to the elements struggling to survive in a world that is hostile to them, is fantastic. Don’t be fooled by the 3 and a half star-rating, the book is quite good and if you don’t usually over-think the paranormal worlds like I seem to do you will definitely love it more.
But in spark ,there is a one but it doesnt go all the way. This story was a little on the predictable side, but even so, it was very entertaining. The author has such seamless writing techniques that we become accustomed to understand and comprehend Hunter and his backstory.
As one of my friends said, you’d think Brigid Kemmerer grew up in a house full of boys with how well she wrote them!
I finished the book, but I really have no idea what the book was about; it’s a frustrating book that doesn’t quite reach its blurb potential. But, close enough nonetheless. Brigiid love for Gabriel and Nick grows by the day, just as they grow more complex and closer to the reader by the elemebtal, and finally getting to know Michael a little better feels like a dream come true. Even though this was my least favorite book of the series, it was still pretty good!
And then, of course, that was Chris’ cue to step in and save Becca. I loved watching Captain Planet shame it’s not on Cartoon Network anymore! Only 16 left in stock more on the way. It was a total win!
