Books by Kristine Cayne (Author of Under His Command)

And likewise, Dani is one hot firefighter as she proves time and time again, in and out of the bedroom. It is fun and sexy, with the right amount of drama and suspense. Missed the mark for me! Aftershocks Six-Alarm Sexy, Prequel When Seattle is struck by a devastating earthquake, technical rescue firefighter Jamie Caldwell must save his estranged wife and daughter from the wreckage of a collapsed building.

Jul 30, Stephanie rated it really liked it. That whole part of the book was really weak and annoying to me, and his about-face wasn’t explained enough and didn’t feel convincing, so I didn’t know if Cayne was setting us up for it to be an issue again.

He chose to go into finance and is the CFO at the family business, He wears fancy suits and has his life all planned out to one day become the CEO and marry a woman suited to play the role expected.

Oct 09, Killian rated it it was ok Shelves: I felt as though the book was missing something maybe the fact that I think that Dani was a bit annoying and William well William did not tickle my fancy if you know what I mean by that.

When Jamie finds out one of his firefighters is sleeping in her car due to her apartment being fixed from the earthquake he has the perfect place for her to stay, with William.

Aug 31, Dakota Storm rated it it was amazing Shelves: We assume everything’s going to be fine, since it’s only supposed to last a few days, but we’re not even given an epilogue to see for sure that everything is fine???? Their struggle with their attraction was handled really well.

The incredible Laron at Ninth Moon http: Jess Buffett Goodreads Author. If you are not into that, then you don’t want to read the book. Love them sexy firefighters! It’s a fairly light and easy read, and the sex scenes are pretty steamy. What will these exposing chain of events do to Dani’s career?

But they both have careers that they love and are afraid to put on the line because of their relationship.

There were a few things that bothered me about this book; I didn’t really understand any initial animosity between the two and it almost seemed nonexistent since they get over everytbing right away and get involved as soon as Dani moves in with William her apartment was damaged in the earthquake and she doesn’t have anyplace to stay.

Will is heart thumping sexy. Kristine Cayne has done it again! It’s not until Dani moves in with Will, while her place is being remodeled that the flames ignite!

This should happen any minute! So the setup of this book is interesting and involves one of my favorite tropes. The only good thing that came out of the FSoG series is the movie.
